Sharon DeMont and Mike DeMont, mother and son, are TEAM DEMONT at RE/MAX Oak Crest Realty REALTORS in Plymouth, Indiana. They have been working together since 2003. Sharon DeMont
Sharon has been a lifetime resident of Marshall County, Indiana. Over the years, Sharon and her husband have been involved in real estate. They have renovated homes for resale and rentals, built new homes, developed a residential subdivision, and have residential and commercial rentals. They own Fairfield Farms Subdivision.

Sharon grew up in Bourbon Township on a farm. Her parents in 1959 purchased a farm in Green Township in Argos and moved the family there.

She has been married to husband Ed for over 40 years, and has three grown sons, four granddaughters and 3-year-old twin grandsons. She is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church (Staff/Parish Committee for two years and Family Coordinator for 10 years, Trustee and Nominating Committee for 3 years), Tri-Kappa (Past-President, Vice-President, Treasurer), Past Treasurer of Love, Inc. for three years (four years on Board of Directors), Past Secretary of Marshall County Blueberry Festival (four years on Board of Directors).

REAL ESTATE BACKGROUND
Sharon has been in residential sales for over 16 years, affiliating with RE/MAX Oak Crest Realty in July 1992, this area's top real estate office. She has earned her Acredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation, Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES )designation, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, Graduate of REALTORS Institute (GRI), Leadership Training Graduate (LTG) and Performance Management Network (PMN) from Women's Council of Realtors, and is a Master Graduate of REALTORS Institute (MGRI). RE/MAX of Indiana has awarded her the 100% Club Award for Sales in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002; Presidential Club Award for Sales in 1993, 2004, 1995: Executive Club Award in 1996; Sagamore 100% in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007; Hall of Fame in 2003; and Platinum Club in 2005.

She is also a member of the Women's Council of REALTORS (WCR). On the local level she has served as President, and served as Treasurer of the Indiana Chapter for two years. WCR is affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS and is also a national organization that offers a designation of their own, Performance Management Network (PMN), which Sharon has attained.

Sharon understands the selling and buying process and will do her best to make your transaction as stress-free as possible. She is committed to serving her clients with the highest level of service possible while maintaining integrity in all that she does. Your goals will always be placed first, and Sharon highly values the relationships formed in the course of doing business.

When Sharon's oldest son, Mike, received his real estate license, they decided to be TEAM DEMONT. They decided to structure their team so that they both would list and sell, but be there help each other out when one gets really busy or needs a vacation. Many times, they share their sellers and buyers. It works well.

Mike DeMont
Marshall county is a great place to live as I think so by being a lifetime resident of Marshall County, Indiana. I graduated from Plymouth High School and was active in cross country, basketball, and track. I went two years to the University of Indianapolis where I ran track and cross country. I then transferred to Indiana State and graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Insurance. Today, I have two wonderful daughters who are in the Plymouth School System, and they are involved in many different activities. My prior work experience includes construction, selling investments and insurance products for Lincoln Financial Group, and accounting for Argos Lumber Company. I am an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and member of the local Rotary Club.

REAL ESTATE BACKGROUND
I am a member of the Indiana, National, and North Central Indiana Association of Realtors. Since becoming a Realtor I have earned my Broker's License and have been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. I took the following classes to earn my designation: Listing Strategies for the Residential Specialist, Effective Buyer Sales Strategies, Using Today's Technology to Capture Your Market, and Client Referrals.

Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 38,000 Realtors nationwide have earned the credential. Home buyers and sellers can be assured the CRS Designees subscribe to the strict Realtor code of ethics, have access to the latest technology and are specialists in helping clients maximize profits and minimize costs when buying or selling a home.

TEAM DEMONT came into being when Mike earned his Real Estate Salesman license in 2003. He then teamed up with his mother, Sharon, who is a "seasoned" Realtor. The team received the "Sagamore 100%" Sales Awards in 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007. In 2005, they earned the Platinum Award.

Although Mike and Sharon each list properties for sale and work individually with buyers, there are many times that listings are co-listed and both show the same client properties. They feel that can give superior service by working together when needed.
