Lake Maxinkuckee

Maxinkuckee.gifLocated in the southern end of Marshall County, the second largest lake in Indiana and perhaps the most beautiful. The lake was named by the Potowatami Indians and means "Clear Blue Water." "Lake Maxinkuckee offers some of the best walleye fishing in the Midwest." - Field & Stream. Other fish include: smallmouth Bass, Bluegill, northerns & crappies. 1864 Acres, Maximum Depth: 88 feet, Average Depth: 24 feet.

 Lake Of The Woods
Lake of the Woods.gifLocated southwest of Bremen with a boat ramp on West Shore Drive. This lake has largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, redear, catfish, crappie and is a very good walleye lake. 416 Acres, Maximum Depth: 48 feet, Average Depth: 16 feet.

Dixon Lake
Dixon.gifOn the southwest side of Plymouth with a boat ramp on Dixon Lake Trail. Good largemouth, bluegill and crappie fishing. 33 Acres, Maximum Depth: 32 feet

Koontz Lake
Koontz Lake.gifIn the northwest corner of Marshall County this lake has a boat ramp which can be reached by going north on SR23 to CR 700N, then east to CR 1200E, then northeast on Carlson Road. This lake has largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish. 346 Acres, Maximum Depth: 31 feet, Average Depth: 
9 feet.

Lawrence Lake

Lawrence.gifLocated 2.5 miles south of Plymouth on Olive Trail with an easy accessed boat ramp. This lake is full of largemouth bass, bluegill and crappie. 69 Acres, Maximum Depth: 63 feet

Myers Lake

Myers.gifThis lake is just across the road from Lawrence Lake and is a good lake for largemouth bass, bluegill and crappie. 96 Acres, Maximum Depth: 59 feet, Average Depth: 28 feet.

Other Lakes In Marshall County
Other Lakes.gifMarshall County has several other lakes that provide good fishing, but do not have good access. Pretty Lake located southwest of Plymouth on SR 17 offers some great ice fishing, but does not have a boat ramp. Mill Pond located south of Plymouth on SR 17 and then 1/4 mile east on CR 12. This lake is a good largemouth bass and bluegill lake. Located adjacent to Mill Pond is Kreighbaum Lake, another good pan fish lake. Cook, Holem, Gilbert and Flat Lake are popular lakes, but you need permission to gain access.
